项羽自刎乌江问题探研——基于秦汉亭制的解读  

Studying the Issues on Xiang Yu's Committing Suicide by the Wu River——Expounding the Ting system in the Qin and Han Dynasties

摘　　要：项羽自刎乌江一事近年在学界一度热议,讨论虽然最初以项羽死亡地点之争为发端,但为说明问题,除运用句式句法分析、历史地理考证、故事流传追索等方法外,相关的时代背景、制度背景也得到了比较充分的讨论。其中,持不同观点的两派学者都曾依据各自对秦汉亭制的认识,提出了一些用于支持个人观点的说法。不过双方在这一制度背景方面的认识还有所不足,因而影响了其观点的说服力。依据秦汉亭制中亭有高楼,便于瞭望,亭主交通,可以止宿,有充足的支持交通的物质储备等等特征,《史记》中项羽自刎乌江的情节可以得到合理解释;又依据秦汉时期南北发展不均衡的状况、亭部的辖区概念以及亭在交通上的次属地位,乌江亭隶属于东城县的说法也是说得过去的。总之,项羽自刎乌江的说法不宜轻易否定。In recent years, Xiang Yu＇ s committing suicide by the Wu River has ever been discussed for a while. Although starting from Xiang＇ s death place, the dispute was revealed by sentence structure analysis, historical geographical research, tracing of story and tales, as well as by related background of eras and insti- tutional background. Two groups of scholars who hold different points of view on the Ting system put forward their own theory. However, their understandings have weaknesses in the background of the system, decreasing the influence of their conviction. According to the characteristics of the Ting system of the Qin and Han Dynas-ties, the plots of Xiang Yu＇ s committing suicide by the Wu River can reach its reasonable answer, and in the views of unbalanced development of the South and the North at that time, Wu River Ting attached to Dong Cheng County is plausible. In short, the view of Xiang＇ s suicide should not be denied.
