摘　　要：提出了一种应用能量平衡关系实现远距离输电线路保护的新原理。该原理采用 2种方法计算在同一时间内输入输电线路的能量 ,然后进行相互比较 ,区分内部和外部故障。EMTP仿真结果表明此方案耐过渡电阻能力强 ,不受电力系统运行方式的影响 ,动作速度快。A new technique for long transmission line protection based on the balance of energy principle is described in this paper. It can distinguish between internal and external faults by comparing the net energy fed into the protected line in a short time interval. Energy is calculated by two different methods. The results calculated by EMTP show that under any condition of power system the proposed technique has excellent performance for the earth fault distance protection under high resistance earth fault conditions and a short operation time.
