CGWIC Gets Contract for APStAR-9 Communications Satellite

摘　　要：On November 22,CGWIC and APT Satellite Company Limited officially signed a contract on APSTAR-9communications satellite project.This is the first time that APT Satellite Company Limited purchased the DFH-4 communications satellite and also the first time that China provides in-orbit delivery of a communications satellite to a internationally mature satellite operator.APSTAR-9 uses the DFH-4 high power satellite platform made by CAST and it is planned to be launched by a CALT manufactured LM-3B/E from the XSLC in October,2015.The satellite has 46 transponders including 32C-band and 14 Ku-band transponders with a 15-year design lifetime.Transponders onboard the satellite areOn November 22, CGWIC and APT Satellite Company Limited officially signed a contract on APSTAR-9 communications satellite project.
