摘 要:白蛇传研究是中国民间文学研究的一个缩影,它承接了五四之际中国文学研究的新范式,又开启了20世纪80年代民间文学研究的人类学传统,无论在本体论还是方法论层面,都堪称经典个案。综观白蛇传的百年研究史,可以大略归纳为有六个方面的收获:源流研究、关系研究、整体文化研究、个别作品研究、比较研究和媒介研究。这些研究所涉及的学科领域十分广泛,展现了学科综合与学科自主意识,折射出三个大的发展阶段:多学科进入的源流研究阶段、民间文学学科的个案研究阶段和学科综合的方法论阶段。白蛇传研究的成果也存在明显局限,即过分的重复性源流研究,而缺乏深度的个案研究成果。这种局限,根源上在于学科视野单一,以及系统性、前沿性研究较少。The research on the White Snake legend is a microcosm of Chinese folk literature research. It follows the new paradigm of Chinese literary studies during May 4th Movement and opens the tradition of anthropology of the 1980s folk literature research. So it is an epitome in both ontological and methodological terms. Looking back to the hundred years' study of White Snake, we can roughly divide it into six aspects: origin research, relationship research, the overall cultural research, individual works research, comparative studies and media studies. The six aspects involve a wide range of disciplines, and show an awareness of comprehensive discipline and self-discipline, reflecting three major stages of development: a multi-disciplinary research into origins research, case study of the folk literature discipline and methodology of comprehensive discipline. There are also significant limitations of the previous research on the White Snake legend, namely excessive repeated origins research, and the lack of deep studies of cases. This limitation is basically due to a single disciplinary perspective and a lack of systematic research in the forefront of the aspect.
