摘　　要：N55S是用N5088S为母本,常规晚粳品系R2000为父本杂交选育而成的粳型光敏核不育系。该不育系不育起点温度低,不育性稳定,在武汉自然条件下稳定不育期为28 d左右(8月初至9月初),易繁殖制种,米质优,配合力好,2009年8月通过湖北省科技厅技术鉴定,所配组合粳两优5519(N55S/R19)于2013年6月通过云南省品种审定。N55S, derived from the cross between N5088S and Japonica rice R2000, is a new japonica PGMS line with a low critical temperature and stable male sterility. Under natural conditions in Wuhan N55S has a stable ster- ile period of about 28 days from the beginning of August to the beginning of September. It has also good grain quali- ty and high combining ability and is easy to conduct its multiplication and hybrid seed production. In August, 2009, it was technically identified by the Science and Technology Department of Hubei Province. In June, 2013, its hybrid Jingliangyou 5519 （N55S/R19） was certified for release to commercial production by Yunnan Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee.
