关于历史建筑的“修旧如旧”——兼论陕北明长城保护中的“修旧如旧”

摘　　要："修旧如旧"是中国历史建筑保护修复的核心思想,其确切意义在于,在保护和体现文物价值的前提下,最大限度地保存其所蕴涵的历史信息的真实性。追溯了"修旧如旧"保护思想的缘起,探讨了其与"真实性"、"可识别性"、"可持续性"等国际文化遗产保护理念的一致性。同时,针对"修旧如旧"如哪个阶段的"旧",阐述了恢复初建之"旧"、恢复某一历史状态之"旧"和保留现状之"旧"的内涵。提出了应综合考虑遗产本身的艺术价值、史料依据、保存状况、传统价值观、审美观等因素,并且灵活应用之,以获得对"修复"最恰当的理解。基于对"修旧如旧"的理解,对陕北明长城遗产保护提出了现状保护、防险加固、复原保护三类针对性的保护措施。Restoring the old as old is the core idea of the preservation and restoration of the Chinese historical build- ings, which means to ensure the maximum authenticity of histor- ical information on the premise that the value of cultural relics is well protected and interpreted. This essay firstly reviews the ori- gin of Restoring the old as old＇ , then verifies its scientific na- ture. It also discusses its conformance with some international i- dea of cultural heritage conservation, such as the “authentici- ty”, the “identifiability” and the “ sustainability”. Meanwhile,this essay amplifies the definition of “old” to three levels： the o- riginal status, the status of a certain historical period, and the current status. Each of them can he chosen as the restoring standard by valuating the artistic value, the historical data, the state of preservation, the traditional values and aesthetics of a cultural heritage. In the end, based on the understanding of Restoring the old as old , this essay introduces three measures for the preservation of the Ming Great Wall in Northern Shaanxi： the maintenance, the reinforcement and the restoration.
