摘　　要：中国古典园林是一种空间造型艺术,特别是私家园林,其精湛的空间营造手法对于现代园林设计有重要的指导意义。文章在分析园林空间的基础上,从空间渗透、空间对比及意境营造等方面分析了中国古典园林空间的营造手法,旨在反映造园手法的规律特征,增加对中国古典园林的理解,探讨其在现代园林中的局限与发展。Chinese classical garden is the arts of space, and its superb way to constuct space is still important in guiding the modern garden design. Based on the analysis on garden space, this paper talks about the ways of creating space in the Chinese classical gardens from space infiltration, space contrast and creating of poetic imagery, which reflect the characteristics of the ways in garden creating and strengthening our understanding to the Chinese classical gardens. At the same time, this paper goes into the limitations and the developments of the Chinese classical gardens in the modern landscape.
