摘　　要：美花红千层原产澳大利亚,在世界热带、亚热带地区广泛种植,其花色鲜艳醒目,开花时景色艳丽壮观。文章介绍美花红千层在引种地广州的生物学特性,扼要总结美花红千层盛花种植技术要点。Callistemon citrinus is native to Australia with its cultivars widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical re- gions ill the world. Petals of Callistemon citrinus colour marked, gorgeous spectacular scenery flowered, which tremen- dously add spectacular scenery to the urban landscape. In this paper the biological characteristic were introduced, the cultivated technical points were summarized and the suitable cultivars were recommended so as to achieve full bloom- ing of Callistemon citrinus in cultivation.
