摘　　要：高等教育发展从外延式向内涵式转变,是高等教育发展方式演进的一般趋势,体现高等教育发展方式的阶段性规律,服从于经济增长及其方式的阶段性规律。当前中国经济发展和高等教育发展的阶段性特点提出了加快转变高等教育发展方式的紧迫要求。政府应该在促进高等教育发展新生长点、新驱动作用、新主导力量、新支柱和新动力的形成上有所作为。It is the general trend in the evolution of development modes of higher education to gain its transformation from denotative to connotative mode.Meanwhile,such a transformation is considered to reflect the rule of the higher education development modes in current stage,and to submit to the rules of economic development and its modes.It is the urgent request raised along with the features of the current development in both economy and higher education of China to accelerate the transformation of the development modes in higher education.It is the government's responsibility to promote the formation of the new growing point,new driving effect,new pillar and new power of higher education.
