摘　　要：以Novell公司的NetWare，4．11版软件为例，从服务器和工作站硬件的基本要求、网络拓扑、服务器软件安装的准备工作、安装Ntware服务器软件、退出服务器控制台、工作站软件的安装、用户权限的设置等几个方面，简要介绍Novell网络系统的建立、软件安装、权限设置等操作过程，以期对检验人员认识医学检验信息管理系统软件的网络运行平台有所帮助。NetWare 4．11 edition of Novell being an example this paper introduces the foundation software installation and authority setting of Novell local area networkLAN from such aspects as basic request of server and workstation hardware network topology preparation of software installation for server installation of Netware exit from server console fixing of workstation software and setting of user authority． And the Novell LAN adopts the layout standard of Ethernet network and working model of client－server which has several advantages including low request for hardware great capability in fault toleration flexible configuration and strong reliability and stability．
