摘　　要：Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ的飞速发展使用户对接入带宽提出了越来越高的需求。随着标准和技术的成熟以及成本的不断降低，ＡＤＳＬ日益受到运营商和用户的欢迎。广东电信的ＡＤＳＬ宽带接入网支持ＰＰＰ虚拟拨号接入和固定接入两种业务模式，到２０００年底全省已有ＡＤＳＬ用户４０００户。２００１年广东电信将迎来ＡＤＳＬ业务高速发展的一年。As Internet services develop at very fast speed, customers demand increasingly higher access bandwidths. As the standards and technology become more mature and the cost keeps on dropping , ADSL services are gaining more and more popularity among the operators and customers. The ADSL broadband access network set up by Guangdong Telecom supports the two service modes of PPP virtual dial - up access and fixed access. By the end of 2000, the number of ADSL service users in Guangdong has reached 4000. The year 2001 will usher in high speed development of the ADSL services.
