摘 要:豫西北一带,奉祀紫虚元君魏华存(俗称二仙奶奶)是很普遍的,历唐宋金元而不衰,明清以来她成为本地许多村落的主神。本文从本地两个共同以紫虚元君为主神,又互相结为社亲的村落为个例,探讨北方农村社会组织与宗教活动的互动。明清村镇中创建或重修紫虚元君庙的碑文完全没有收入地方志,本文使用笔者调查时发现的几个未曾发表过的明代碑文,结合实地访谈调查,探讨紫虚元君信仰从明清以来在中国北方的发展及其现状。Abstract:The worship of the Primordial Lord of Purple Void, Wei Huacun (also known as Granny Erxian) has been commonplace in the northwest Henan Province. It flourished through the changes of Tang, Song, Jurchen Jin and Yuan dynasties. During Ming-Qing times, Wei Huacun became the primary deity of the main temple in many villages. This article studies two villages that have the Primordial Lord of Purple Void as their main deity, and formed an alliance. A study of these two villages will shed light on the rural aspect of religion-social history in north China. Local gazetteers routinely failed to include temple steles recording the construction or renewal of Purple Void temples in villages during Ming-Qing times. This article deploys unpublished stone inscriptions dis- covered during my field work in company with interviews with and observations of the locals. It aims at exploring the practice of the Primordial Lord of Purple Void worship since Ming-Qing times in the area.
