摘　　要：以项目实践为导向的教学模式将传授知识、思维、设计过程和设计项目加工制造能力放在同等地位,它所关注的是以最佳的形式让学生掌握在不同环境中自主学习的方法。在对美国多所知名大学工业设计专业走访调研的基础上,分析了美国工业设计专业项目实践教学模式,并从设计思维、设计研究贯穿整个项目设计过程,设计概念"实物化"能力培养,跨专业团队组合与教师团队指导,设计服务方面的内容列入产品商业化设计,从教育机制入手促进设计类实习环节等方面阐述了以项目实践为导向的美国工业设计教育现状及对我国高校工业设计教育的启示。The project oriented education mode emphasizes knowledge teaching, thinking, the design process, and the projects manufacturability. It focuses on motivating students study initiatively and independently in different problem-solving environment. This article analyses the project oriented method in Industrial Design education based on my visits to many well-known industrial design universities in United States, and expounds the implications to Chinese industrial design education from embedding design thinking, the ability of making the idea become real and interdisciplinary team collaboration through the whole design process. This article also discussed Industrial design education in United States integrates design services, ＂added value＂ into the product design process to create a delightful user experience.
