On Quantification of Cerebral Metabolic Rate of Oxygen Using Arterial Spin Labeling and Susceptibility Weighted Imaging Technologies

摘  要:磁共振相位图可以反映静脉区域的血氧饱和度,结合动脉自旋标记技术可以分别定量动脉血流量,解算静脉周围的脑氧代谢率,但无法解算区域脑氧代谢率。作者假设组织相位信息反映组织血氧饱和度,结合磁敏感加权成像和动脉自旋标记技术,解算区域组织脑氧代谢率。在静息状态下,分别采集14例正常健康志愿者(男性8例,女性6例)的动脉自旋标记和磁敏感加权成像数据,使用菲克法则定量区域脑氧代谢率,发现灰质﹑白质﹑全脑﹑额叶和颞叶的脑氧代谢率与以往文献报道一致。表明以近似方法定量区域脑氧代谢率是可行的,适用于大脑区域脑氧代谢率的测量。The phase map of susceptibility weighted imaging and arterial spin labeling technique can quantify venous oxygen saturation and arterial blood flow respectively, and can be used jointly to calculate the whole-brain cerebral metabolic rate of oxygen (CMRO2), but can not calculate the regional cerebral metabolic rate of oxygen. This article assumes that the phase information of tissue reflects oxygen saturation of tissue. Regional tissue CMRO2 can be calculated through a combination of susceptibility weighted imaging and arterial spin labeling technique. In resting state, arterial spin labeling and susceptibility weighted imaging data of 14 normal healthy volunteers (8 male, 6 female) were acquired, and then quantified in to regional cerebral metabolic rate of oxygen using the Fick's principle. The CMRO2 values of grey matter, white matter, whole brain, frontal lobe and temporal lobe were consisted with previouse literatures, indicating that the approximate method for quantifying regional cerebral metabolic rate of oxygen is feasible, and it is suitable for measuring regional cerebral metabolic rate of oxygen.
