摘　　要：论文以社会学研究的经典理论——"角色理论"为基础,以公共图书馆的社会角色为研究对象,分析其困境表现并重新定位,探讨创新模式与突破,拓展图书馆发展空间,以期获得社会认同和支持,达到与社会各界互动合作,实现公共图书馆事业发展与社会发展的高度融合,增强公共图书馆作为社会公共领域知识空间、文化空间的本体属性及其行业自觉性。Based on the classical theory of sociological study -- ＂role theory＂, and taking the social role of public library as the research object, this paper analyzes the public library＇s predicament and repositions, discusses the innovation and breakthrough, expands the library development space, in order to obtain the social recognition and support, to interact and cooperate with the society from all walks of life, realize the public library＇ s development and the fusion of the social development, enhance the public library＇s ontology attributes of social public domain knowledge space and cultural space and its consciousness of the industry.
