摘　　要：德国政治学家冯·贝梅在其初版于1982年的著作《西方民主国家的政党》中，围绕着西方政党的“精神家族”这根主线，对它们的意识形态、组织结构、选举、执政以及政党体制进行了全面的考察。该书是20世纪70~80年代对西方政党进行综合性比较研究的为数不多的学术成果之一，它不仅用丰富的实证材料客观地展现了这些政党在80年代初的状况，而且以其理论上的创造性和前瞻性对此后西方学者的政党研究产生了极为深远的影响。Focusing on the spiritual family of Western parties, yon Beyme＇ s Political Parties in Western Democracies, first published in 1982, analyzed comprehensively the ideology, organizational structure elections and the ruling party system of Western political parties. This book is one of the few academic achievements in 1970s-1980s that made a comprehensive and comparative study of Western political parties. It not only described objectively the status of these parties in the early 1980s by plenty of empirical evidences, but also had a profound effect on political party study of later Western scholars due to its theoretical study of creativity and forward-looking.
