摘 要:指出今天所谓的建构学,实质上脱胎于19世纪因为铸铁等新材料的出现以及由此而来的建造模式的变化而产生的对于形式、结构/材料之关系的探讨,"新芽"轻钢复合建筑系统的实践从诸多层面背离了源自这些探讨的正统建构学原则。但是基于对材料、结构、效能等要素和需求的多重考虑,其在构件的取舍方面几乎不可约减,在构件的联接以及由此而来的形式生成方面也几乎无可挑剔,从而在更深层面上恰恰又契合了建构学的根本内涵。"新芽"系统对于正统建构学的挑战促使我们反思要如何构筑一种对当代本土境况更为恰适和有效的建构学。The so-called tectonics was in fact born out of the 19th century debate on how form was related to structure/material, which was intensified by the emergence of new material and the resulted new building mode. NEWBUD building system betrays those basic tectonic principles drawn from that debate in many ways. Yet based on a multifaceted consideration of material, structure and thermal efficiency, its choice of material is almost irredundant and the connection of components, from which form is generated, is hardly questionable. These make it stand ironically in line with the very essence of tectonics. The challenge posed by the NEWBUD system to the orthodox tectonic thinking suggests the need for speculation on how to interpret tectonics in a way more appropriate to and effective in our contemporary and local situation.
