摘　　要：《汤姆·索亚历险记》和《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》两部小说成功塑造了汤姆和哈克两个形象。二人都被贴上了"坏孩子"的标签,这也开启了他们的成长之旅。所不同的是,在两位主人公的成长道路上,汤姆从与社会的格格不入到成长为社会栋梁,他经历了入世的过程;而哈克一直游离于社会之外,在认清社会本质后,他选择了出世的道路。The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn are representative works of Mark Twain.The two interwoven novels create two vivid children characters,namely,Tom and Huck.From a comparative study,the similarities and differences between their adventures of growth could be discovered.Similarly,they are labeled as 'bad boys'and the adventures initiate their growth journeys.However,Tom experiences a growth from a boy against society to a pillar of society,while Huck,who always dissociates himself from the society,decides to be detached from society after realizing society's truth.
