加拿大的CIP机制探讨

摘　　要：图书在版编目(CIP)是出版业者与图书馆界通力合作的一项自愿性计划。加拿大CIP计划已建立相关体系与流程,包括管理机制、编制范围、申请表格与附件、印制格式、出版前书目信息的变更通知等项目。经过30多年发展,CIP机制在加拿大已趋完善。近年来加拿大国家图书馆暨档案馆(LAC)更进一步将CIP资源延伸为相关的新书信息服务。加拿大CIP的实施概况、工作实务、计划前瞻、机制评析,值得我国借鉴和学习。Cataloging in Publication （CIP） is a voluntary cooperation project of publishers and libraries. The CIP project in Canada has established the related system and process, including the management mechanism, the cataloging scope, application forms and accessories, printed formats, the notification of changing bibliographic information before publishing, and so on. The CIP mechanism in Canada has improved through the development of 30 years. In recent years, Libraryand Archives Canada （LAC） further extends CIP resources to related New Books Service. The general situation of implementing, the work practice, the project prospect, the mechanism Comment of CIP in Canada are worth of drawing lessons and studying for our country.
