摘　　要：该文从建筑设计者的角度回顾了荆州火车站从方案投标至实施完成的整个设计历程,讨论了在满足城市规划、区域交通、内部功能使用的基础上,如何以建筑彰显文化,以设计呼应传统。在简要介绍荆州站总体规划、组织布局的同时,着重阐述了设计过程中,对站房主体建筑的整体造型、立面细部、选材用色以及部分室内空间的推敲演化历程,力求将荆州火车站建设成一座由表及里,由整体到局部均闪现人文设计光辉,又内蕴荆楚地域文化的车站建筑。In the paper, we review the whole design process of Jingzhou Railway Station, from bidding to completion, we demonstrate how the design not only meets requirements of urban planning, regional traffic and infernal functions, but illustrates culture and tradition as well. We emphasize the process of deliberating and modifying the overall shaping, details of elevation, choice of material and color, part of the internal space of the main station building, while briefly introduce layout and overall planning of the station. We also reveal the designers＇ endeavors to integrate glorious ideals of humanism and Jingchu culture to the plan of Jingzhou Station.
