Preparation and Characterization of Zinc Oxide Crystal Whiskers via Solid-State Reaction at Room Temperature

摘  要:以ZnSO4·7H2O和NH4HCO3为原料,在适量表面活性剂聚乙二醇一400(PEG-400)的存在下,采用室温固相反应,得两种纳米碳酸盐前躯体:ZnCO3、Zn5(OH)6(CO3)2。分别以这两种碳酸盐为锌源,以氯化钾为助熔剂,在920℃煅烧2.5h制备得到ZnO晶须,用X射线衍射(XRD)、透射电镜(TEM)及XSZ—D2型倒置生物显微镜对产物进行表征和形貌分析。结果证明:在室温固相反应中,加入KCI助溶剂,纳米ZnO晶须的生长机理为固态纳米颗粒自组装生长过程,得ZnO晶须平均直径为150nm,长度为5.0~4.5μm。Two types of carbonate precursor :ZnCO3 and Zns(OH)6(CO3)2 are prepared in the presence of surfactant PEG-400 with fully ground ZnSO4·7H2O and NH4HCO3 as raw materials by solid-state reaction at room temperature. ZnO crystal whiskers were prepared via a simple thermolysis of two types of carbonate, the growth process was carried out at 920℃ for 2.5 h using potassium chloride as smelter flux. The products were identified by X-ray diffraction analysis(XRD), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and XSZ-D2 inverted biologic microscope.The results showed that the growth mechanism of zinc oxide crystal whiskers shows a new mechanism- self-assemble growth, the ZnO whiskers have diameter about 130nm and lengths ranging from 3.0 to 4.5μm.
