摘　　要：2月11日，曾经是美国历史上最著名童星的秀兰·邓波儿去世了。对一些人来说，秀兰也许只是大银幕上那个让人艳羡与喜爱的小明星；但对另一些人来说，她已成为一段美好过往的象征，让人每每忆起，皆感怀于心。In the early 1980s, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Shirley Temple movies were shown on Sunday mornings, on cable TV. When we got our first VCR, in 1982, my father would set the timer to record the movie, and it would be waiting for me and my younger sister when we got home from church.
