摘  要:首先介绍了G.657单模光纤制造技术的演进情况,然后提出采用"三步法"制造G.657弯曲不敏感单模光纤的工艺技术,设计并制造出两种类型的弯曲不敏感单模光纤。其中,G.657A2光纤在弯曲半径为7.5mm时,1 550和1 625nm波长的弯曲损耗分别为0.063和0.136dB,1 383和1550nm波长的衰减系数分别为0.272和0.188dB/km;G.657B3光纤在弯曲半径为5mm时,1 550和1 625nm波长的弯曲损耗分别为0.067和0.122dB,1 383和1 550nm波长的衰减系数分别为0.276和0.182dB/km。测试结果表明,该"三步法"预制棒技术能够生产出高抗弯、低损耗的小弯曲半径单模光纤,该光纤的关键技术指标均优于ITU-T国际标准。This letter first introduces the evolution of the manufacturing technologies for G.657 single-mode optical fibers. Then it presents the“Three-Step”preform technology for manufacturing bend-insensitive G.657 single-mode fibers and designs and fabricates two types G.657 fibers,G657A2 and G.657B3.They are tested respectively.When the bending radius of G657A2 fiber is 7.5 mm,its bending losses at 1 550 and 1 625 nm wavelengths are 0.063 and 0.136 dB respectively and its at-tenuation coefficients at 1 383 and 1 550 nm wavelengths are 0.272 and 0.188 dB/km,while when the bending radius of G. 657B3 fiber is 5 mm,its bending losses at 1 550 and 1 625 nm wavelengths are 0.067 and 0.122 dB respectively and its attenu-ation coefficients at 1 383 and 1 550 nm wavelengths are 0.276 and 0.182 dB/km respectively.The test results indicate that the presented technology produces high bend-resistant low-loss small bending-radius single-mode fibers and their key specifications are all better than the ITU-T G.6 5 7 standard.
