摘　　要：本文以我国西部地区为研究对象,对区域经济增长与环境质量进行分析,分别构建了经济发展与环境质量的单因素计量模型、多因素计量模型,并对区域经济增长与环境质量的协调度进行了研究。首先,通过主成分分析构建经济发展、环境质量的综合发展水平指数,利用面板回归拟合我国区域经济发展与环境质量的单因素和多因素实证模型;其次,利用模糊数学隶属度函数计算了经济发展与环境质量关系的协调度。实证结果表明:我国西部地区环境质量与经济发展之间不全是EKC"倒U"关系,而是"倒N、S型、U型"关系;随着经济的持续发展,环境质量的承压会逐渐增大;西部地区环境质量与经济发展处于弱协调状态。This thesis is regarding to the research on the western region of China and analyzing the regional economic growth and the environmental quality. Meanwhile, this thesis constructs the single-factor and multi-factor models of economic developm-ent and environmental quality, and studies the coordination degree of those. First of all, through the principal component analy-sis, the comprehensive index is built about the developmental level of economy and environmental quality. The panel regression is made to fit the single-factor and multi-factors models of the economic development and the environmental quality. Second , the fuzzy membership function is used to calculate the coordination degree between the economic development and the environmental quality. The empirical results show that the relationship between environmental qualities and economic developments is not all EKC＆quot;inverted U＆quot;, but＆quot;inverted N＆quot;, ＆quot;S-shaped＆quot;and＆quot;U-shaped＆quot;. With the continuous development of economy , the pressure of the environmental quality will increase gradually. The coordination of environmental quality and economic development in western China is in a weak state.
