摘　　要：唐代宗族处在中国古代宗族的转型期,是中古宗族与近古宗族的交会之处:它在南北朝时代中古宗族衰变的基础上,基于隋唐社会环境的新变化,一方面继续着南北朝以来以世家大族为核心的中古宗族的衰变,同时又开启着宋元以后近古宗族的历史。其转型主要表现在四个方面:一是城乡宗族的分野日渐清晰;二是其居住形态从"聚族而居"发展为"宗族聚居";三是宗族政治、军事功能的消褪;四是近古宗族的萌发。The Tang Dynasty represented a period of change in the evolution of the ancient Chinese clan,bridging the clans of the middle ancient times and the near ancient times.Based on the disintegration of ancient clans during the Northern and Southern Dynasties,and new social changes in the Sui and Tang Dynasties,clans of the Tang Dynasty continued to decline from their former position of being prominent families.The transformation contained the following four aspects:the divide between urban and rural clans became increasingly clear;the resident modality developed from 'the clans living together'to'natural habitation of clan members';the political and military functions of clan subsided;and the clans with the characteristics of the near ancient times sprouted.
