摘　　要：面向对象数据库提出了一种表示和操作产品信息的新方法 ,且赢得了学术界和工业界的广泛关注 ,但目前距应用还有一段距离。通过分析产品数据的特点 ,以及关系型数据库管理系统在产品数据管理中的一些不足 ,从底层分析了产品数据管理系统 (PDM)的面向对象层的体系结构和一些设计特点 ,研究了产品对象的定义和操作、产品结构版本管理和产品配置管理、O—O的产品结构表示 ,以及面向对象的产品结构信息的存储实现等关键技术。Object oriented database systems provide an approach to representing and manipulating product information,which has received wide attention for science and engineering applications However,it still needs a period before attaining application The object layer model is an alternative approach that builds on the relational data model to define complex entities The characteristic of product data is discussed Object oriented layer product structural informational model representation is presented,e g product configuration manag ement,data access control management and version management Based on the aspect of product data model,an effective storing and retrieving method is given
