Objective: To analyze the relationship between hypertensive disorders complicating pregnancy (HDCP) and climate change in Nanchang area of Jiangxi province. Methods : A total of 896 HDCP pregnant women were collected, the incidence rates of HDCP and complications in different seasonal climates were analyzed. Results: There were 896 cases diagnosed as HCDP, accounting for 3.72% of the total number of hospitalization during the same period. In winter climate, the prevalence rate of preeclampsia were higher than those in summer climate and transition climates ( P 〈 0. 001 ) . In winter climate, the incidence rate of HDCP combined with severe maternal complications was higher than those in summer climate and transition climates ( P 〈 0.05 ) . The incidence rate of HDCP and eclampsia was higher in winter climate compared with summer and transition climates, but there was no statistically significant difference ( P 〉 0. 05 ) . In summer climate, there was more poor perinatal outcomes compared to transition climates and winter climate; the correlation analysis showed that HDCP was significantly negatively related to average temperature (P 〈 0. 01 ) and which was positively related to atmospheric pressure (P 〈 0. 05 ) . It also revealed that severe maternal complications was significantly negatively correlated with average temperature (P 〈 0. 01 ) and positively correlated with barometric pressure ( P 〈 0. 01 ) . The study did not find the connection among humidity, rainfall and occurrence of HDCP ( P 〉 0. 05 ) . The morbidity of perinatal complications in HDCP perinatal infants had no significant relationship with temperature, humidity, pressure, and rainfall ( P 〉 0. 05) . Conclusion : HDCP may be correlated with climate ; average temperature and atmospheric pressure are related to occurrence of HDCP and severe maternal complications, and the correlation needs further studies.
