摘　　要："扬威"号在"黄海海战"中最终的命运究竟如何,一直是"甲午战争"研究中一个非常重要且一直存在争议的课题。无论"扬威"号在海战中是撞沉,是搁浅还是击毁,已有的"结论"抑或研究大多将"扬威"号的命运与"济远"号联系起来。而比较常见的看法主要有"撞伤——搁浅——焚没"说、"搁浅——撞沉"说等。但无论"撞伤——搁浅——焚没"说还是"搁浅——撞沉"说都在史实以及逻辑方面存在不足。What the ultimate fate of “Yangwei”warship in the “Battle of the Yalu River”has been a very important and controversial topic in the study of “Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895”. No matter how“Yangwei”was sank, stranded or wrecked, the existing“conclusions”or studies would like to link“Yangwei”with “Jiyuan”. The arguments often focus on various descriptions such as “Bumping- Stranding- Burning”,“Strand-Sink”, etc., they are not enough in terms of facts and logic.
