基督教青年会对中国体育发展的贡献考述

摘　　要：考察并探讨了1885—1924年间基督教青年会在华的体育社会实践。研究表明,基督教青年会这段时间内以体育运动为载体在宣传基督教的同时,客观推动了西方体育在华的传播,促进了当时国内学校体育的发展,培养了大量本土体育人才,同时推动了近代中国体育组织的建立并促进了对外的体育交往。The article explores the activities of YMCA between 1885 and 1924 in the field of sports. Studies shows that the or- ganization promotes the spread of sports and it pushes the development of school sports. The organization trained a large num- ber of local sports talent and establishes sports organizations. It makes possible sports exchanges.
