摘　　要：地名虽是一种约定俗成的符号系统,但其命名及演变却有一定的规律可循:与特定时间、地域内的自然及人文状况紧密相连。以杭州市行政村名为例,运用数理统计法、地图法以及GIS空间分析等方法,对地名分类及其与经济发展的联系进行了分析,并对其地名演变趋势做出了预测。Although place name is of conventional symbol system, there are certain rules to follow in their name and development： it is closely related with nature and culture of specific period and space. With mathematical method and map and GIS, it analyzes the classification of Hangzhou administrative village name and its connection with economic development. It also predicts its developed trend.
