论周作人文学批评理论的开拓性贡献

摘　　要：周作人是中国现代文学批评理论的开拓者之一,在与历史拉开了一定距离的当下,我们有可能平心静气地去探讨周氏文学批评理论中许多开创性的贡献。在文学根本属性上,周作人用"人的文学"的旗帜来强调文学表现人道主义与人性的本质;在表现对象及目的上,他认为文学应表现人生;在文学功用上提倡"无形功利"说;在文体方面,主张艺术性散文的"美文"文体与文学批评文体的"美文化";在批评原则上强调宽容。周作人能做出这些贡献的内在原因,在于他创造性融合方法与广纳异质文化的气魄与胸襟。Zhou Zuo-ren is one of the advocators in Chinese modem theory of literary criticism. At present, we can discuss many of his pioneering contributions because there is a considerable distance from the present to that time. In the basic attribute of literature, Zhou Zuo-ren stressed that literature should express humanitarianism and human nature by holding a flag of ＂human being＇s literature＂. In terms of objects and purposes, he thought that lit- erature ought to express life. As for the function of literature, he advocated theory of ＂invisible utility＂. In the type of writing, Zhou Zuo-ren insisted on artistic aesthetics. In the principle of criticism, he emphasized the standard of tolerance. The intrinsic reasons for his contribution lie in his proposal of creative coalescence and breadth of mind of extensively absorbing heterogeneous culture.
