摘　　要：[目的]选择从澳大利亚引进的西门塔尔肉用公牛20头,对其1年的生长发育、体型外貌、精液生产能力、抗病性及环境适应能力进行观察,分析其在引入地的适应性。[方法]对引进的公牛从4个方面综合分析1年来对当地自然气候条件的适应性观察。[结果]体型外貌特征符合本品系特征,外貌评分达特级占89%,一级占11%;非适应性淘汰2头;24月龄平均体重达到819.11kg,平均日增重为1.13kg/d;精液利用率为74.58%,年均生产冻精数21 561剂;饲养期间无重大疾病发生。[结论]综上所述,澳系西门塔尔种公牛在武威饲养、生产均能适合该地区自然气候条件。[Objective]The aim of this work was to investigate the adaption of 20 imported Australian Simental cattle during one year in several indexes, such as growth and development,body conformation, the capacity of semen production, disease resistance and the ability to adapt to the environment in Wuwei, Gansu province. [Method]The bulls＇ adaptability to the local climate conditions for one year were analyzed comprehensively in 4 aspects after induction. [Result] with the physical characteristics. Moreover, the special Body conformation characteristics were consistent grade of appearance rank was up to 89G, and the first grade was 11% ;2 bulls were eliminated because of poor adaptation^24-month average weight reached 819.11 kg with an average daily gain of 1.13 kg/d^semen utilization efficiency was 74.58%, with an aver age annual production of 21561 tubes of semen; while there was no dangerous disease. [Conclusion]In summary, the Australian Simmental bulls could fit Wuwei＇s local climatic conditions in feeding, breeding and production.
