摘　　要：我国图书馆界有关公共图书馆为新生代农民工提供服务的研究历史并不长,但在这一领域已经涌现出一批学者,这些学者主要研究的内容包括理论探讨、服务现状、具体措施、信息援助、信息需求和行为。我国图书馆界应借鉴国外相关领域的研究方法,加强公共图书馆为新生代农民工提供服务的实证研究,并继续探讨如何更好地为这一社会群体提供行之有效的信息服务。The research history of providing services for cenozoic peasant workers by public libraries of Chinese library circle is not long, but in this field, a batch of scholars has sprung up, and these scholars researched main contents including the theory discussion, the service status, specific measures, the information assistance, the information demand and behavior. Chinese library circle should draw lessons from the research method of foreign related fields, strengthen the empirical research of providing services for cenozoic peasant workers by public libraries, and continue to explore how to provide effective informa- tion services for the social groups better.
