摘 要:采用重质碳酸钙(g-CaCO3)以及经偶联剂活化的g-CaCO3对抗冲共聚聚丙烯(IPC)进行改性,研究了改性IPC的力学性能和加工性能,并利用SEM方法对改性IPC的冲击断面进行了分析。实验结果表明,粒径0.8μm左右的g-CaCO3(g-CaCO3-0.8)对IPC的改性效果优于粒径1.2μm左右的g-CaCO3(g-CaCO3-1.2)。含偶联剂的g-CaCO3-0.8对IPC的改性效果优于不含偶联剂的g-CaCO3-0.8。当g-CaCO3-0.8用量(基于IPC的质量)为40%(w)时,不含偶联剂的g-CaCO3-0.8改性IPC的熔体流动指数(10 min)为4.9 g,冲击强度为15.6 kJ/m2;而含偶联剂的g-CaCO3-0.8改性IPC的熔体流动指数(10 min)为9.2 g,冲击强度为54.7 kJ/m2;含偶联剂的g-CaCO3-0.8改性IPC的弯曲模量略低于不含偶联剂的g-CaCO3-0.8改性的IPC。Impact propylene copolymer(IPC) was modified by ultrafine ground CaCO3(g-CaCO3) and g-CaCO3 activated by a coupling agent.The mechanical properties and processability of the modified IPCs were investigated and their impact sections were analyzed by means of SEM.The results showed that the modification effects ofg-CaCO3 with particle size 0.8 μm(g-CaCO3-0.8) were better than those ofg-CaCO3 with particle size 1.2 μm(g-CaCO3-1.2).The modification effects ofg-CaCO3-0.8 containing the coupling agent were much better than those of the pure g-CaCO3-0.8.When the g-CaCO3-0.8 dosage (based on the mass of IPC) was 40%(w),the melt index(10 min) and izod impact strength of the IPC modified by pure g-CaCO3-0.8 or g-CaCO3-0.8 containing the coupling agent were 4.9 g and 15.6 kJ/m2,9.2 g and 54.7 kJ/m2,respectively.The flexural modulus of the IPC modified by g-CaCO3-0.8 containing the coupling agent is slightly lower than that of the IPC modified by pure g-CaCO3-0.8.
