摘　　要：南岳佛教在中国佛教史乃至世界佛教史上都占有重要地位,它在唐代就开始影响中国和东亚佛教的发展。到清代民国,南岳佛教虽然逐步衰落,但仍然名僧辈出,留下了诸多珍贵的佛教文献,湖南图书馆藏有一批价值甚高的南岳佛僧文献,它是灿烂的南岳佛教文化的重要载体。The Buddhism of Nanyue plays an important role in the history of Chinese Buddhism , even more impor- tant in the world. It started to affect Chinese Buddhism and East Asian Buddhism from the Tang Dynasty. In the Qing dynasty and the Republic of China, the Buddhism of Nanyue was gradually fading, but still had a lot of fa- mous monks, survived a large amount of valuable literature. The collection of the Nanyue＇s monk＇s books held by Hunan Library permanently, they are the symbol of splendid Buddhist culture of Nanyue.
