摘　　要：伴随着经济市场化的进展,农村地域间、阶层间的差距急速扩大,致使农村老年人的家庭构成差异极其显著。这些差异直接影响了农村老年人的养老现状和社会意识,特别是贫困村的家庭养老功能正在削弱甚至崩溃,建立"空巢"老人的农村社区生活支持体系成为当务之急。A household survey plus direct participant observation was conducted to investigate the elderly people＇s family composition and its differences among economically different families. The survey shows that with the development of market economy, there is a big gap between rural regions and classes. As a result, significant differences exist in rural aging family composition. Such differences directly influence rural seniors＇ pension situation and social awareness, especially in poorer rural areas where the family pension function is weakening or even collapsing. So it is urgent to build a security system for the leftover elderly people in rural communities.
