摘　　要：通过对西岸2013建筑与当代艺术双年展的历程、主题演绎和主要展览架构的回顾,针对室外营造展和室内当代建筑回顾展的内容,分析建造在当下对于中国城市的意义,以及围绕这个主题所呈现的理论和实践作品,并进一步探讨双年展对于激活城市公共空间历史记忆所体现的价值。This article reviews briefly the origin, curatorial theme, and exhibition frameworks. It focuses on the architectural exhibition contents of two parts of the biennale： Fabrica and Reflecta, both architectural works and theoretical reflections, it analyzes the meaning of the biennale to Chinese cities and its value in revitalizing historic memory of urban public spaces.
