摘　　要：上世纪60年代到70年代初，虽然日本的经济实力得到飞速的发展，但在重大国际政治问题上仍无足轻重，除美国外，还不得不借重英国等西欧强国，在联合国的中国席位问题上就是如此。由于日本在台湾问题上有巨大的地缘政治利益，所以它希望在联合国保留台湾的席位，并希望得到在西欧和亚太有重大影响力的英国的支持。但是，对于英国来说，与中国保持稳定的关系更符合它的利益，因而支持中国获得联合国席位。日英两国在这一问题上渐行渐远，并且在中国重返联合国的重要过程中起了不同的作用。不过两国在中国重返联合国不久，都与中国建立了大使级外交关系，也可谓是殊途同归了。In the last century 60 ＇s to the early 70 ＇s, while Japan ＇s economy has been gaining rapid develop- ment, but it had no rights on major international political issues and have to rely on United States, Britain and other Western European countries, especially in the issues of Chinese seats in the United Nations. Because Japan has a huge geopolitical interests in Taiwan, so they want to preserve Taiwan＇s seat in the United Nations, and hope to be a major influence in Western Europe and Asia Pacific British support. However, for the UK, to maintain a stable relationship with Chinese more in line with its interests, and thus support China to possess UN seat. Japan and Britain are different in this issue and made the different effects of China return to the United Nations in Chinese in. But the two sides in the China UN soon, and Chinese established diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level, also is the same.
