摘　　要：阐述了社会阅读的概念以及社会阅读发展的历史和现状,从而映射出年轻人尤其是大学生在阅读方面存在的问题。指出高校图书馆应从加强文献资源建设、提高馆员素质、做好导读工作、营造良好的阅读氛围、大力开展读书活动等方面开展阅读推广工作。This paper elaborates the concept of social reading as well as the history and present situation of social reading, puts forward the problems existing in young people, especially university students reading, thus indicates that university libraries should develop reading promotion from reinforcing document resources construction, improv- ing the quality of librarians, working well in reading guidance, producing a favorable reading environment, and energetically developing reading activities.
