摘　　要：福克纳的《八月之光》通过对人物悲剧命运的描绘,展示了20世纪初充满种族矛盾和阶级矛盾以及两性不和谐、生态不和谐的美国南方社会。笔者从种族主义视角、清教主义视角和生态主义视角,揭示出社会矛盾的根源及作家的宗教多重性思想。By portraying tragic lives of his characters, Faulkner in Light in August depicts a society in the southern states characterized by conflicts between different races, classes, sexes and ecological environments. This paper is the attempt of the authors to reveal the reasons for the above conflicts and the multiple religious ideas of Faulkner from the perspectives of racism, Puritanism and ecoism.
