摘　　要：文章选取《等离子体科学和技术》为样本,简要介绍期刊的基本情况,认为其影响范围和学术质量是该刊主要优势。通过查阅2012年JCR报告,对数据进行详细分析和论述,在此基础上深入分析该刊影响范围和学术质量优势形成的原因,得出以下结论:科技期刊的学术质量水平与其自身发展定位、发展政策、稿件质量控制、主编的学术水平和学术道德规范等因素密切相关,借此为我国同类科技期刊的发展提供一定的启发和借鉴。A brief introduction of Plasma Science Technology was given, and the advantages of influence area and academic quality were pointed out. By researching JCR 2012 and analyzing the detail data, reasons for influence area and academic qualityadvantages was studied. Results showed academic quality level significantly related to factors including development orientation, developmentstrategies, quality control of manuscripts, and academic level and ethics of editors, which could provideenlightenment and reference for the development of similarscience and technology journals.
