苏廷玉与《重建泉州元妙观记》

摘　　要：苏廷玉为清代闽南重要历史人物,嘉庆进士,道光重臣,曾按察山东,总督川西,"扬历中外垂三十年",为清代封疆大吏;然不知何故,自清末民初以来,所有官修正史与学林史籍均无苏氏传记,惟清光绪之《马巷集》与民国时期之《福建通志》、《同安县志》、《厦门市志》有零星记述,然皆散佚不全。笔者据苏廷玉晚年亲撰之《鳌石自譔圹志》与《鳌石府君自记年谱》对其生平予以考述,并对其所撰《重建泉州元妙观碑记》有关闽南道教历史、道观修建过程与神灵信仰等方面内容予以钩稽梳理,以期对闽南人文之传承与道教历史之了解有所裨益。Su Yan-yu was an important figure in Qing Dynasty southern Fujian, who reached scholar position of Jinshi and was a kernel officer of Dao-guang emperor. He had once inspected over Shandong province, which earned him fame for three decades at home and abroad and to be conferred a high-rank government officer in frontier. Nevertheless, from the early late Qing Dynasty, neither the official history records nor those of scholarly written had any reference to him. There are but a number of partial and sporadic records in Maxiang Collects in Guang-xu emperor time of Qing Dynasty,as well as some works in the Republic China era such as Fujian General Annals, Tongan County Annals, and Xiamen Annals.The writer,based on two autographs of Su Yan-yu in his late years,has an argumenta- tion about his lifetime and advances an in-depth clarification of Taoism history in southern Fujian,the reconstruction process of the temple, and deities worship, whereby to engender benefits for a better understanding of southern Fujian humanity heritage and Taoism history.
