摘　　要：讨论了地理认知演变的3个阶段,以及地理认知演变的动力。提出地理信息人与地理认知的地理数据服务-地理信息服务-地理知识服务3个阶段相对应的各阶段任务和使命、技术支撑。Geographical cognition evolution is a process to record natural and cultural phenomenon and its inherent law to resolve kinds of geographical problems. Geographical cognition is a dynamic evolution course including geographical cognition, geographical representation and geographical thinking. Its evolution is closely related to cognitive ability and technology development in the specii c time. With the evolution of geographical cognition, geographical information workers historical mission is changing, that is from initial earth describing to geographical data service, geographical information service and geographical knowledge service in recent years.
