The corruption and fornication in the life of church described in terms of criticism in The Decameron is an authentic reflection of medieval church life, rather than the result of deliberate exaggera- tion by the writers to be aimed at the need of the era of the Renaissance. In the church life, the narrative of adultery, through which the civic ethics sublimates from the love of idealistic spirit to the one of sexual rationalism, makes up for the Plato's style of elegant love. The great work The Decameron, against the background of the era of heretic feminist movement, extols the women's virtues in accompany with the sprouting appearance of feminism although in this work the spread of personality equality is meanwhile ac- tually the product of the Christian spirit.
