摘　　要：位于美国芝加哥南区的斯特恩矿坑公园(Stearns Quarry Park)是在一采石矿坑废弃地及建筑垃圾填埋场基址上改造而成的一处别具特色的城市休闲公园。采用案例研究策略,在介绍场地演变历程的基础上简要解析其方案生成逻辑,并对最终改造实施方案进行描述,最后就其可持续设计理念及现代功能主义设计思想进行评价,旨在为同类场地的景观改造再利用实践提供参考与借鉴。Steams Quarry Park, situated at south Chicago in US, is a distinctive city park reconstructed from an abandoned field used to be a limestone quarry and landfill area. Applying case study strategy, this thesis reveals the park＇s landscape evolutions, explores the site＇s original condition before reconstruction, analyses how the scheme layout came out, and describes the sceneries of the finished park. At last, the author evaluates the proposal＇s sustainable principles and design ideas of modernism ＆ functionalism, so as to provide an example of case for similar practices
