由“负重”到“失重”——城市化进程中的“农民工”文学形象嬗变

摘　　要："农民工"文学形象与乡土中国现代化转型的历史进程紧密关联。在城市化进程中,随着经济社会中文学生态的急速转变,进入主流文学言说空间中的"农民工"由改革之初负载着知识分子社会人生理想的时代"新人",到新世纪需要社会各界关注关怀的"生存之民工",精英作家笔下不堪重负的"农民工"形象在释放其精神能量后触底,迅速从"强者"退回到了"底层",由"知识分子"气到"农民"化,由时代正剧中的"负重"者到后现代式生存悲喜剧中的"失重"者,在各种权力话语的形塑下,他们被不同程度地改写和简写了。Literary image of the peasant migrant workers in China is closely related with the process of urbanization in contempo rary China, and during the process, the image of peasant migrant workers has undergone significant transformation with the dras tic change of literary ecology. When peasant migrant workers as characters entered the mainstream literature at the beginning of China＇ s reform period, they appeared to be the ＂new character＂ that embodied the social ideal and life expectation of the intel lectuals. The image changed, however, around the turn of the century when peasant workers became the strugglers of survival who had degraded to the concerns of almost social strata, especially the elite group. After the image of the peasant workers released the spiritual energy it had previously embodied, they rapidly fell to the bottom of the society, their intellectual air lost while turning back to the status of peasants. When the peasant workers are deprived off the image of the burden - bearers in the heroic drama of the time, and relapse into the weightless existence in the postmodern tragicomedy, they are in varying degrees re written and oversimplified.
