摘　　要：文章依据地方社会各类服务客体的需求内容和方式,结合地方高校图书馆的能力范围,以服务客体的需求和特点作为切入点,整合服务内容和手段,构建地方高校图书馆为地方社会服务的模式并剖析其功能定位及运行机制,为地方高校图书馆服务地方社会提供理论佐证及实践范式。Considering various local social demands and the capacity of local university library, this article first states local patrons＇ demands; then discusses the contents and means of library service; and finally establishes a social service mode for local university library and analyzes its functional orientation and operational mechanism, hence to help university library better serve local society theoretically and practically.
