摘　　要：现在农村"空巢"社会的形成,实际上是农民家庭为适应社会变迁做出理性回应。在隔代家庭形成的同时,也生产了特殊的家庭关系圈,将子代家庭与亲代家庭紧密联系在一起。通过纵式的血缘关系,农民不断调整着整个大家庭应对变迁的能力,家庭间的互助合作既反映了"现代化"对农村社会改造的现实,也作为农民家庭策略的主动表达。The emergence of ＂empty nest＂ society in the countryside is ac tually a rational measure taken by the rural families in response to the social changes. The generation-skipping family has formed a special family network. closely linking descendants to the parental family. Such a vertical kinship helps a whole rural family to react the changes. The support and cooperation in families mirror the changes of the rural society influenced by the modernization process. and an example of measures that the rural families take on their own initiative.
