摘　　要："出花园"是潮汕地区由来已久的民间习俗①。调查发现,潮汕各地的"出花园",可谓是"一乡一俗"。在城区及部分经济较为发达的村镇,"出花园"仪式已是日渐式微。"出花园"习俗,在今天的潮汕大地发生了明显的地域性变化。对待传统民俗,如何去粗取精,更好地弘扬和传承,迫切需要新时期的我们积极思考。＂Going out of the Garden＂, a coming-of-age ceremony, is a time-honored folk custom in Chaoshan district. Based on an investigation, this paper concludes that the custom of ＂going out of the garden＂ varies among areas in Chaoshan district. Urban areas and some better-developed towns enjoy a better economy; however, this custom is dwindling, and the actual practice of the rite has experienced an obvious regional change. This urges us to consider how to reject the dross and assimilate the fine essence of folk customs so that they can be promoted and inherited in a better way in the new era.
