摘　　要：在详细分析PowerBuilder和SQL Server运行特点的基础上,总结了PowerBuilder中利用Winsock实现网络通信的几种方法,并利用其实现了局域网中客户端服务器的数据传输计算功能。同时,针对数据库备份的相关问题,利用共享文件夹的方式,设计了一种定时同步备份的软件,在实际工程应用中取得了很好的效果。This paper firstly summarizes some methods of solving network communication by Winsock in PowerBuilder, on the basis of analysis of PowerBuilder and SQL Server with their operating characteristics, and realize the calculation function between client and server in LAN. Then aiming at the problems of database backup, a kind of timing synchronization backup software was designed through the shared folders, which achieves good results in practical application.
